And who gives a shit anyway as they can only do it in the summer.

That's mainly because it's not well ventilated and doesn't get enough sunlight thanks to the roof.

The OS has the bestest, most expensivest roof in the world.

Yeah, cos Wembley hasn't had any pitch problems in recent years.

Wembley seems to get by alright.

Red Cow Hammersmith with Bon Scott

Not me but a mate great picture in NME of him at the front of the stage, one of those I should have gone

I love AC/DC but saw them at the O2 a few years ago and they were shit.

I blame the souless venue to be fair, would be great to see them somewhere like the Corn Exchange or Brixton.

Even in my later non-obsessed life, I still retain vast amounts of useless knowledge about the band. It's all in the film 'Lemmy' too which is worth a watch, albeit a bit sad now.

I was Motorheadbanger #68 when they first started their fan club. My mate was really pissed off because his application must have been below mine in the pile and got assigned #80. :)

Yup, The Rainbow on Sunset Boulevard.

He has a fairly small apartment nearby which is crammed with all his nazi/German/WWII memorabilia.

Suits him I suppose..

That is all too possible sadly.

What I've heard, when Lemmy isn't touring, he sits all alone in a little bar in LA with a drink always at his side playing some old school arcarde game....this is the only thing he does. Regulars know not to bother him. Pilgrims are not likely to get much response. He's been doing this for years, apparently.

I think that's probably good advice. From about 79' to '82 I was completely Motorhead obsessed including seeing them 3 times in 4 days once. The awesome three piece with Philthy and Fast Eddie. Incredible noise.

I am increasingly of the opinion that it is a young man's game and knowing when to go out gracefully is a skill. AC/DC were still great when I saw them last summer, but they should also stop very soon.

IF they stick to their contracts and genuinely do hang it up on 31st Dec, then Motley Crue will have just about managed this.

Trouble is, I genuinely think Lemmy does not know how to stop. If he did stop touring he would probably just stop existing.

Hopefully he will die on tour (if not actually onstage) and complete his legend for all time.

Lemmy was rumoured ot have got cancer about 10 years back. It is truly painful now. If you have good memories of Motorhead gigs, sterr clear. He has to be walked to the stage, has "tight" jeans taht hang loose on skeleton legs where you can clearly see the bulge of his nappy underneath. It is pitiful. It's no Any Winhouse story of him being forced to go out, he just doesn't know when to quit......as always.
